In our democracy, we have the ability to non-violently protest the politics, policies, and decisions made within our government process. We have the right to express our opinion, to not-conform, to be disobedient, as long as we do it in a civilized manner without hurting another individual. Some people express their discontent by picketing and chanting in front of government buildings. Others prefer a more peaceful protest.
