STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
“Education is the most powerful weapon by which you can change the world.” This is a statement by Nelson Mandela. These prominent words are for real education and will definitely change the world and one’s own life.
My name is S.Salai Kamalai Mani. I graduated as a civil engineer from CARE Group of Institutions, Tiruchirappalli, Tamilnadu, India. I completed my 10th and 12th grades at Bishop Heber Higher Secondary School in 2011 and 2013, respectively. Besides my special interest in engineering from school days, the passion for civil engineering sparked by observing my father at his worksite. My father is a carpenter, and I used to go with him to his workplace often. Noticing all the works like supervising, carpentering, planning, and constructing a building, my fascination for Civil Engineering sprouted.
As a student, I learned Civil Engineering basics with keen interest. The fieldworks during the laboratory session and the lesson on Surveying, Construction Materials, and Strength of Materials drew a great deal of enthusiasm in me. Importantly, subjects like Design of Steel Structure, Prestressed Concrete Structure, and Highway Engineering kindled the interest to gain more knowledge in Civil Engineering.
To fuel my knowledge fire, I participated in many national level college events, workshops, and seminars that helped me to understand civil engineering better. I have successfully done an intellectual industrial visit to L & T Construction, Chennai,
