Breaking News The Battle Of Gettysburg Is Over The crushing 3 day defeat for the rebels is finally over. With over ⅓ of their army gone this battle has been called the turning point of the war. The confederate army will have a tough time rebounding. It looked promising for the Confederates when reinforcements arrived but the Union took them down with ease. This is sure to rise Grant confidence while demolishing Lee’s. The Union suffered over 3,000 pronounced dead. WIth others in critical condition. Surely this signals we are near the end of this horrible war. With nearly ½ of his army dead Lee will not be able to continue much longer.
