We live in a world where being different is not a good thing. When you act differently, in the government's eyes, you raise red flags. There is one particular girl that is the definition of different and her name is Clarisse. Clarisse is a beautiful 17 year old girl. Clarisse was sound asleep and was dreaming about a life where she could wake up in the morning and read all the books she desired and actually be able to do whatever she wanted. That was the best dream she ever had and maybe the best dream she will have for a while. When she woke up the next morning the sun was shining and it was early Saturday morning. She recognizes that it’s Michael’s shoe; or at least what's left of it. The sneaker was torn to shreds and there was traces of blood. She looks up from the shoe. Barely able to see, she continues to run down the road with hope that she will find her true love. As she runs farther and farther her hopes of finding Michael grows thin and she starts to slow down. She falls to her knees with crying so loud you could hear it from the moons of Jupiter.(Hyperbole) After Clarisse has stopped crying, she just layed on the cold hard ground whimpering like
