Contrary to popular belief, cloned animals have the same DNA and genetic code, yet most of the time they do not look alike. In Michael Bay’s The Island, humans can pay five million dollars to have a clone of them made. The clone is then harvested for body parts when the client is in need of various organs or transplants. Lincoln Six Echo is one of those clones living in the clone society where the population believes they have survived a contamination outbreak. The only salvation for the clone society is a contamination free Island out in the ocean. In order to get to the island though, you must win the lottery and be selected to travel to the island.
