The movie starts off at funeral service in honor of Vincent late mother and sitting beside him is his father Robert who is a political candidate and his wife. Vincent mother died because of excessive drinking which was brought by stress and too much worry. Since no one was stepping in to take care of Vincent who was suffering Tourette’s syndrome, his father decided to put him through an experimental medical treatment. Robert at that time thought he was doing what was best for Vincent and at the same time avoiding public scrutiny that will get in the way of his political campaign. The objective is to reveal characters with behavioral problems as normal people who undergo same complicated or life changing experience as other regular human beings.
