Therefore, lots of people in America state that Colin Kaepernick, quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers, shouldn’t make his protest in that manner. In contrast, Colin Kaepernick should have protested in his manner for the following reasons. To begin with, the action made by Colin Kaepernick was a really effective way to attract attention. After the game that he first started his protesting, lots of reporters dash to Kaepernick and tried to interview him even though there was no interview.

As George Orwell once said, “People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.” Every day, men and women in the armed forces fight for our freedom and for our safety. As we live our day to day lives, we do not think about how our country became free and who made it free. In America, we have the freedom of petition, freedom of religion, but most importantly in Colin Kaepernick’s case, the freedom of speech. Recently, Colin Kaepernick, 49er’s quarterback, refused to stand for the National Anthem.
Finally, why do you think most Black celebrities, athletes, and entertainers have been hesitant to publicly protest against police brutality and support Black Lives Matter in the way that Colin Kaepernick has done? The constitution that we lay upon this nation says that we have our equal rights to many things, but not for certain races. In the book, “The New Jim Crow” by Michelle Alexander explains how African American lives are affected during the new era of Jim Crow. Through the New Jim Crow, it impacted many African American lives, and that lay a foundation for many organizations and people to retaliate towards the brutality that they have upon them.

If you don’t know what G.O.A.T means, well it means that he is just the Greatest Of All Time. It takes a lot to say he is because there are so many other incredible players that have played the sport of football, but none of them are at Tom Brady’s level. He might not be the most jacked guy, but he doesn’t need to be, he is a true leader and mentally a great athlete.
Gentlemen, I take you back to the day, where the court of arbitration for sport had found essendon bombers players, now known as the Essendon 34, were found guilty of taking the banned substance Thymosin Beta 4,: "I 'm very disappointed, shocked is probably the best word.” Words spoken by the Coach of Essendon, James Hird, words that reflect the feelings of Australia very accurately. The Court of Arbitration for Sport has found Essendon Bombers players, colloquially referred to as the "Essendon 34", guilty of taking the banned substance Thymosin Beta 4 (TB-4) during the Essendon Football Club 's supplements program in 2012, upholding the appeal by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). This finding overturned the AFL Anti-Doping Tribunal 's
African Americans complained about police brutality but there were not cell phone cameras to capture the officers’ actions. So, if the case went to court it was a “he say she say battle”, and the police officer will win that battle. Unless you have experienced police brutality or racial profiling (DWB), you wouldn’t understand their complaints. Majority of the population couldn’t relate to what these African Americans were enduring. Not until the video of the Rodney King beating surfaced in March, 1991, police brutality

Bullying, Prejudice and social injustice are all forms of racism that blinds people from seeing who a person really is (based upon their skin color). Nowadays these forms of racism are used to create an intimidating atmosphere for the people who are affected by it the most. Some of the reactions to this are suicide, murder and the thirst for vengeance. In contrast, many people fall into deep depressions and let a racist comment haunt them forever and change the pathway of their lives. The rights of the Scottsboro Boys were completely ignored and all of the whites in the court stared down each and everyone one of them with absolute hatred and intolerance.
“Racial profiling punishes innocent individuals for the past actions of those who look and sound like them…” - Benjamin Todd Jealous. Is it okay how in today 's society many innocent people are stopped by the police because of their race? Is it okay how many innocent people are often killed or injured because of their race? It’s not okay for people of color to be targeted by authorities because they “look suspicious”. The fact that this is an actual real world problem going on right now is disgusting.
African Americans feel targeted in today’s society because so many innocent African Americans are being incarcerated, shot, and killed. Since 2001, it is 6.1 times likelier to be incarcerated as a black man than a white man. This is all because of skin color. Black Lives Matter (BLM) was a group created to raise awareness for the heinous acts the have presented itself to the black community
From Ferguson to Tulsa to Baton Rouge, there have been countless cases of police brutality towards African-American men, women, and children. Murderers never receiving their justice, given paid time off and being cleared of charges. Families living in fear, left torn apart at the hands of people who took an oath to serve and protect. We see people of all races standing together in protest of something we know to be wrong, advocating for much needed social change.
