Ever since I was a little boy, I have been aware of my keen interest in computers; one that went beyond gaming and rather extended to how these machines actually worked as well as how the systematic advances in technology affected that. The interest never deserted me and only grew stronger with every new discovery I made. From witnessing the wonders of the Internet to building my own machine, computers have left me spellbound by just how much power they hold over our daily lives. The Computer Networking course, which I have chosen to study not only reflects my passion for computers, but it also helped me to develop both myself and my understanding of the subject. After a proper research for my course choices in different universities, I chose the courses which is relevant to my interest. My passion has also inspired me to take on a challenging and yet very gratifying course, which resulted in a Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) training certification from college. The course addressed a wide array of fundamental technical ideas and ultimately allowed me to build upon my understanding of core concepts in IT infrastructure, databases and software development. Aside from the technical aspects of the course, my overall drive for computers has been strengthened and left me with no doubts as to what I want my future career to look like. Furthermore, my interest in computing has not been restricted to classroom and college life. In the past, I have spent a considerable fraction of my summer holidays helping out my uncle who runs a small IT business and provides technical support for private businesses.
