A college education is a continuation of the learning path that begins in high school. High school starts the mind focusing on learning new topics and by the time you get to college your mind is hungry for more information and a deeper understanding of specific topics. For the handful of entrepreneurs, such as Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg, that dropped out of college and built huge successful companies based on their ideas, there are many others that tried and failed to build successful businesses that would provide them with a steady income and earning potential and without a college education behind them find the future holds limited opportunities to start over. Being a successful entrepreneur takes a lot of drive and intellect, and most important continuous amounts of state of the art knowledge gathering, that many learn from attending college rather than personal research.
College will be the best path for me because it will help me specialize in my career path, I will be offered more advancements in my career with a college degree, college will help me grow as a person and college will offer me the opportunity to achieve my goals. …show more content…

My career goal is to become an Environmental Engineer with a specialty in Alternative Energy. I believe that this career path will be the most satisfying and rewarding for my future and look forward to learning all I can about this field so I can someday help the world be a better place. While I am in college I will learn the importance of this career, and learn more information dealing with wind, solar power and other renewable resources that will improve the environment. Without a college degree, I don’t believe I will be able to make it very far in my career
