Knowledge is power and with power nothing is impossible, reaching for the stars and realizing your dreams is what it is all about. My goal in life is to become a teacher and help the future leaders of America cross their bridge to success. Becoming a teacher is a journey I cannot wait to embark on, helping spread my knowledge to others and making friendships that will last a lifetime are just a few things that I am excited for. An educator is a unique profession that allows one to grow as an individual and helps the mind stay active. A career path as a teacher allows for the knowledge of literature. It can be extremely rewarding when you make a difference in a child’s life, however the task is not an easy to accomplish. Young kids can quickly realize when a teacher is not there for the right reasons or with full potential. Elementary students tend to me more observant to their surroundings, capturing every detail their teacher makes, making it quite difficult to fool them. Adults are not as captive. They may be more judgmental but they will not capture if a teacher is educating for good reasons or for bad reasons. Teachers who tend to be more upfront with their students tend to build better relationships with their students. Why? Because older students such as high school students want someone who they can relate to and trust. Sometimes punishment isn’t the answer for a high school student but maybe a good lesson could change their views. Depending on how old the student is or what grade level they are in, a teacher will always impact them, whether it’s good or bad. At the end of the day an educator only wants to see their student succeed and become someone in the world one day, that’s the difference that I want to see when I become a
