You can look at someone and have your opinions, but you will just barely scratch the surface from finding out who they actually are. You must dig deep and uncover their fears, their goals in life, and their way of living. I’ve always been a high achiever, I’m persistent, I’m unique, and I can get over almost any obstacle that’s put in front of me. My friends sometimes tease me because I’m so captivated with learning of if all I discuss with them is something educational. Well, it’s been the same thing since third grade, and that’s Marine Biology. I’ve always been hooked on the idea of marine life and the ocean. When I’m done with work in class, I sometimes read facts about the ocean and marine life just because I love learning about it. I think it’s because of how mysterious it is. We’ve only discovered less than 5% of the ocean and I want to be a part of the people that do that. I want to explore the ocean and make new discoveries. I’ve always wanted to have an award like this. I also am going to try and stride for the title of valedictorian in my senior year of highschool. But Young Scholar, that’s a huge title. It would be the biggest honor to be able to win this award. I mean, In my two years of middle school, a lot has happened. I met new friends, I learned how to play the ukulele, I advanced my skills with the cello, I grew up, and I learned hundreds of new things. But I didn’t just learn academic things, I learned new things about morals and integrity, I learned things that I won’t ever forget. So I want to leave my mark on Cudahy Middle School as the Young Scholar of the class of
