Although theatre can occasionally be demanding, and time consuming, but it is also an all-encompassing collaborative method of art that permits individuals to demonstrate their personality through different characters. Theatre is the only course where I can embody a miscellaneous assortment of personalities. Theatre inhabits a level of societal intermingling of either games or scripts, and while acting, the actors or actresses feed off of each other’s energies and ideas. First, Theatre is an art that necessitates continuous communication. I adore numerous forms of fine arts, including scratch board, water color, stencil, or even doodling, but those art forms are ordinarily done alone. In theatre, not only do we depend on the people on stage or behind the stage, but also the audience. I want to learn how to be a capable actress so that I may audition for at least one school play in my last two years of high school. Theatre stands out to me because this is the one class where I will get to become someone else and forget about my real life struggles as the life of another person, animal, or extraterrestrial species takes over my mind body and soul.

This pertains towards improvisation. Thinking on your feet about a random topic is much more problematic than it sounds, but I find it humorous to see what others have to lay on the table. This gives me a window into who they are as a person, and in turn that makes me respect them more.
