I have always dreamt of amounting to high ranks of prosperity. My eyes are locked at the top aiming for the ultimate goal of becoming affluent and triumphant. Lamentably, as a female, our society believes I must aspire to marriage. Young girls are taught that a successful woman is one with a successful marriage. We are prepared for married life but the grounds for our professional life are not laid. Irrefutably heart wrenching, a good marriage proposal for a woman and a good job for a man hold the same degree of significance. Us woman at times feel like our purpose in this world is to be ideal wives and cater our husband's needs. Since in the eye's of our society, what makes a girl victorious is her devotion to her husband.

Indubitably marriage is a source of jubilance and affection. It does amount to much momentousness in one's life. But does it mean that all the paramount decisions in my life cannot be made without taking it into consideration? Tormented, I felt that in this society there is no use of being goal-orientated and erudite, since at the end of the day I must aspire to marriage.
