The ultimate goal of teaching is to promote lifelong learners who can independently navigate their way to success in life. Success academically, socially, economically, and spiritually. Knowledge is power and those who are fortunate to have it will have great influence on this Earth. Knowledge is knowing the difference between right, wrong, and finding ways to get closer to God. I am able to understand what it is like having nothing to having it all here in America. I value my education and want all my students to feel the same way. Unfortunately, not everyone can have a great education. For that reason, I am a coach, mentor, and motivator who refuses to watch students throw their education away by being lazy and unproductive. I want all of my students to get a great education that they can use to advance their life socially and economically. My obligation is to make sure my students understand that they are fortune and to take advantage of their fortunes. I work in a public school and we do not discuss religion much. However, I do promote being a great person. I believe that an education builds tolerance amongst people. If more people were educated, the world would be more peaceful.
