I am and always will be a Badger. Growing up, I have heard countless stories from my parents, both of whom attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. These stories first encouraged me to look at this university: the legendary boating scare on lake Monona, the time they pulled two, back-to-back all nighters for a final, crazy nights at the Kollege Klub, and most importantly, meeting the love of their life. I fell in love just as they had. When I was younger, I was shown the “ins and outs” of the campus: multiple times. The Wisconsin School of Business, offers me a chance to fulfill my passions, while benefitting from a well-rounded education through the School of Journalism and Mass Communications. Successful business people are not necessarily specialists, but those who have a diverse portfolio of skills. I believe the heart of all business is entrepreneurship, where people with both simple and complex ideas can chase their dreams. This particular major addresses my love for hands-on learning, which allows for teamwork, leadership, and curiosity. I would first like to enroll in the Human Resource Management course to learn and better communicate the value of failure and its lessons.
