Top 10 of Class
My freshman year I was invited to my school’s academic banquet. I had the honor of being one of the top ten people in my class of 200 people. My grades and GPA qualified me to be in this percentage. Being recognized for my hard work merited the work ethic I had kept up.
UCA National Championship Semi- Finalist
My cheerleading team attended the Universal Cheerleaders Association National Championship. We qualified for the semi-finals, which took only 20 teams out of 40. We placed 15th in the whole nation, after not competing for 4 years before. It was a great achievement for our nascent team. This was a great start to our budding team and prepared us for future experience.
House Representative Student Council
I was elected by my grade to represent my house, from our house system, on our student council. It was an honor to be elected and serve because only 9 people are chosen from each grade. I was elected president and had the responsibility of assessing the needs of the 10th grade class. Being elected by my class, represented the change that I wanted to see in some of our issues. As class president, I served as one of the hard working members that mad our Winter Formal a success.
Beta Club
I was invited to become a member of our school’s Beta Club. You must achieve at least all A’s and B’s, and my straight A’s merited me to be invited. Our school club represents some of the top students in our grade.
National Society of High School Scholars
I was invited to join the National Society of High School Scholars. This organization values the academic achievement of students all over the nation. It was a pleasure to be invited. The program helps students find scholarships that suit their academic needs and helps bright minds on their educational
