I am writing to apply for the position of Chemistry Instructor at your college, recently advertised on https://www.higheredjobs.com. I am a Ph.D. graduate in chemistry from the University of Louisville and I have a master’s degree in physics from the same university as well. Additionally, I have worked as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Akron for one year. I have obtained outstanding opportunities to attain knowledge and research skills in a variety of scientific fields: organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, and physics. I was appointed to Tribhuvan University as a Lecturer of physics, where I taught physics and guided various research projects to undergraduate students. I have taught undergraduate classes as a co-instructor in chemistry for more than five years in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Louisville. I believe my experience and research skills should address the need’s need effectively when I share my knowledge in chemistry, which I have obtained through the research on cutting-edge areas of chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, and physics. Additionally, I have received a leadership achievement back in Nepal in teaching and training high school teachers, writing proposals for research grants, and organizing science fairs for college and school students. I am a strong view that these skills allow me to teach and guide laboratory classes at the College excellently to produce qualified students, who can them thrive in the highly competitive US markets.
