As Christians, it’s our responsibility to share the good news that we have received. At my home church, we believe that we are called to be disciples, and make disciples. This has been my motivation to seek further education and to acquire the necessary knowledge to better make disciples. In my early life I was given a bitter taste of Christianity, and I later realized that what I had experienced wasn’t the true love of Jesus. Once that became clear, I began to do everything I could to share the true picture of who Jesus was, and began pursuing a career in ministry. The knowledge and experience I gain from NCU will be exponentially beneficial in not only my career, but in my life as a whole. I’ll be honest, there are a lot of things in my life that I’m not good at. When I was in high school, I took tests and talked with guidance counselors about what exactly I would do with the rest of my life. I figured I would become an electrical or mechanical engineer. I was decent at math, mechanics and electronics just made sense to me. However, as I continued pursuing this career, I was met with an overwhelming sense of doubt. I have full faith that because of the values of NCU, I will be able to follow God’s call with all of my life. Through higher education in a Christian environment, I will be able to better understand not only the Bible, but also how to share the message more effectively. I will follow the example of stewardship given by NCU by using my resources to bring glory to God. I plan on using my resources to help support the church and the spreading of the Word in any way I can. Because of the community provided at NCU I will be better equipped to lead my community in a way that promotes living for
