My goal is to be the head tennis pro at Inverness by the time my boss LB retires. Based on her age I will be about 25-27 by the time I'm able to take over for her. I have been playing tennis for three years and coaching for two. I’m very passionate about the sport and coaching is one of the most fulfilling things I have ever done. I would like to stick with it into my adult life as either my full-time job or part-time. I started playing tennis right before my freshman year of high school after I had moved across the country. I was not a natural but after my 1st high school season I started to better understand the game. I started playing every day and put all my energy into the sport inside and outside of the season. It gave me a sense of purpose I had never felt before and made me so happy every time I walked onto the court. I made varsity my sophomore year and became a leader on the team. In my junior year, I started hosting pre-season practices for my team to help them grow before the season. I play all the time already not just because I need to but because it helps relax me and clear my mind. I have a very specific and detailed list of everything I need to improve before my senior season. Over the summer I'll start taking private lessons again so I can work on these things with my coach. Right now I'm ranked a 3.0 by the USTA (United States Tennis Association). When I turn 18 I'll finally be able to play in leagues which will help me bump up my ranking. Also continuing practices and playing on my college team will help to keep progressing. By the time I graduate college, I would like to be ranked a 4.0/4.5. This ranking helps to show my progress and also will allow me to coach more adult classes at
