Week 8 of the college football season was supposed to be a quiet week. Saturday’s collegiate slate of games featured only one contest in which two Top 25 teams faced each other, No. 15 Texas A&M vs. No. 24 Ole Miss, and very few upsets were forecasted. Most of the early Saturday games went relatively as predicted, and it seemed like the day was going to disappoint. Then the night matchups happened, and those of us that thought the day would wind up a dud looked foolish.
