Walking down the city streets of New York a melody catches my attention is it hip hop no it's rap. No it's both, I've heard this person before but the name won't click. I keep going but can't help to wonder, I won't give up, out of options and about to head to the train I glance over to the tall man in a black leather jacket singing the lyrics who tells me artist. He's making art through his music, Receiving mail from his fans about his new music and vision to have a positive outlook towards a bright future not only goes a long way in his career but also his music. He knows people appeal to the way he thinks and it only motivates him to make more. Not only did he want people to be happy , he wanted the best for his fans going against other rappers who talked about selling drugs and hating people. Leading into a life where one is not happy or going into a life of crime and drugs like some rappers did promote during that time is not what logic wanted. Which was weird to me at first because this guy doesn't even know who we are, so why does he want the best for us.
