What’s a world without communicating? That is like asking what a birthday party is without cake. A world without there being a constant form of communication is a non functionable world. The World that montag lies in is barley functional. There is crime happening everywhere. There are multiple cases of suicides reported every night in Montag's city. If the world had talked about their problems instead of keeping the problems to themselves, then all these problems would most likely go away. Most people in our world are happy. But also most people communicate with each other in our world. In Montag's world, no one talks about their problems. They all just hold back their problems and end up committing suicide. Everyone thinks that Clarisse is a strange woman because she actually likes to talk to people and read books. In their society, it is weird to communicate with people about problems and their emotions. For example, most women in the city are constantly watching their "family" in the parlor. If the rest of the world is just like Montag's city, than I’m sure that they did not communicate to resolve the war. If the nations would have communicated like most of the wars resolved today, then I’m sure that the city could have been saved. All of the lives that were lost could have been saved by just a simple word called communication. “Stuff your eyes with wonder, he said, live as if you’d drop dead in ten seconds. See the world. It’s more fantastic than any dream made or paid for in factories.”
Communication has a big affect in relationships, talking about problems, and fixing society. Bradbury’s main point is that communication is key to a functioning society.
Communication is the key to about everything. Think about it, if there were no form of communication, we wouldn't even be talking right now.
