Which individual (GMSI) skills (e.g. interpersonal skills, communication skills, conflict resolution, negotiation) did you most employ and develop during the simulation exercise? • Communication Skills I am an exchange student in this semester, I may not have talked to every person in class before. The simulation exercise gave me a perfect opportunity to communicate with new colleagues ( friends ) as a National NGO. I have more courage to express my thoughts and perspectives on the role given. • I learned that many decisions that are needed to me made during the complex emergency situations such as fund-raising, budgets, division of labor and duty, service delivery, logistics, prioritizing and evaluating the need of help according to the limited resources, areas, the terms , population etc. • According to my observation during the simulation, I learned that most of the actors make decision in complex emergency situation by Group decision making which has both advantages and disadvantages. The strength points are there will be more information, more alternatives, increased understanding and greater commitment but the weak points are the conformity with social pressures, sometimes domination by a few members and time delays. Overall, I insist my support towards the group decision making among the teamwork because it is what I and my colleagues did.
