The Communist Party USA, or CPUSA, was founded in 1919 with the motto, “People and planet before profit.” The CPUSA use the ideals of communism, not to be confused with corrupted Soviet communism. They are big on civil and labor rights, and they strive to achieve economic equality by having no private property. The USSR pushed several factions, which are small, organised groups under control of a bigger one, together. The Soviet leaders saw potential for a US communist party. For this reason, the USSR funded them and made them the Communist Party USA. The president of the USSR at the time was Vladimir Ilyich Lenin. They do, however, support candidates from other parties and the party is most often the Democrats. The Communist party supports the other party by mobilizing voters to elect that nominee. In the 2016 election, for instance, CPUSA supported Hillary Clinton and were extremely anti-Trump because of his ideology. CPUSA has good motives and very equality centered ideals. I support the communist and socialist parties because we stand for the same thing. My immediate family has socialist ideals, some of which being equality and economic equality. I do agree with the communist ideals, they basically the same as the socialist ideals, although, because of the greediness of human nature we cannot yet live perfectly by communism. The wealthiest people want to keep the money at the top with them. They want all the money to themselves. If rich people would give to the middle and working class, we could be relatively economically equal. Capitalism literally has profit in the name. The capitalists want all the money to themselves.
