1 How have you been able to support your local community? Describe your community service involvement (separate into past and present - positions worked in, responsibilities, awards, and achievements.) Growing up I was involved in Boy Scouts of America and held many roles during my time with the troop. The most significant would have been my role has Senior Portal Leader for my Boy-Scouts troop 219, I led meetings, planned meals for future trips, planned meetings, received information from the council about what needed to be discussed, gave out awards and badges for boys who completed their merits, and planned outings for each month. As an eagle scout, and with my role as senior portal leader, I feel that scouting gave me a lot of power and responsibility to learn how to properly plan and receive the information necessary before each meeting. Truly no matter what I did, I could never please my father. To this day I still am trying to prove to my father that I will be successful. My father also taught me the value of a dollar from a very young age, and wanted to make sure that I was able to pick up on how to do something very quickly. Due to my circumstance, I am a young man who is full of passion. I am full of new ideas and new ways to do things. I am a very quick learner and I will always give my all in whatever I am doing! I know that I may not be the smartest, I may not be the greatest, but I can promise you that I will be one of the hardest working and passionate candidates that you have. I love more than anything to be challenged and to be pushed! I bring to the table a long list of leadership experiences, of life experiences, and teamwork experiences.
