Curran is a specialist in counseling and he is proffessor of psychology at Loyola university,Chicago.Curran studied adult learning for many years .He was also influenced by Carl Rogers humanistic psychology ,he found that adult feel anxious when learning new thing.Curran says that one way to overcome on their fear is that teachers become language counselor.There is counseling learning theory in community language learning.counselor is a person who gives advice,support another person who has a problem. They have relationship with each other . The teacher and students work together to improve learning . In CLL method relationship is very important , it base on communication . At first students have a conversation in their native language , the teacher support them to solve their problem and communicate better in the target language .
