Chapter 2-3 what would happen if the Brian was knocked out if he was knocked out would probably die. Chapter 4 the secret is that his mom was dating someone else then his dad.
`Hatchet I think that the Hatchet book is more detailed than the movie A Cry In The Wild, because I can imagine things happening in my head and because I can understand what is happening. An example is when the plane crashed into the l-shaped lake. I can image that the engine broke down and then the plane fell like a roller coaster going down and landed in a lake with a big splash or boom. I can also imagine the porcupine coming into the shelter where Brian was sleeping and Brian trying to fight it off, then the quills getting shot into his leg.
My final is about the difference between the book and the movie “The Outsiders.” This next paragraph is about the description difference between the book and movie. Then the paragraph after that will be about the description of the background or cars that the characters drive or live in. I think that the move and the book where basted of the same story but I think that when the directors made the movie with some different cars or house that can change the movie or they put different things in it so that the movie will look better. Altogether the movie and the book were pretty good and had good meaning to it about want to think of life and it’s alright to not be tough and hard.
In my opinion Hatchet explains the story better using imagery and foreshadowing. For example when Brian was eating the raspberries he told us that they were tangy, sweet, juicy, and ripe which helped me almost be able to taste the berries. When Brian from, “A Cry In The Wild”ate the fish he just talked to himself I couldn’t paint a picture in my head or even almost taste it, it really didn’t describe the fish or use imagery. When Brian in hatchet ate the fish he told us it was greasy,flaky smelled good,and tasted so good. I could almost smell and taste the fish this is where he used imagery again.
If you read hatchet you read that Brian got rescued but people started to wonder what he would of had to go thru if he didn 't and had to threw the winter, So the author made this book Brian 's Winter that
Brian in Hatchet survives a plane crash and landed in a Canadian Wilderness. He learned to survive on his own and find shelter. He was starting to give up but then he remembered the hatchet his mom gave him.
I believe that the film “A Cry in the Wild” does a better job than the book Hatchet. I believe this because the film is more descriptive than the book because it shows when Brian is sticking a tree branch in a bear. In the book it says that the bear just roars at Brian. Another example is in the film, Brian eats maggots and worms, in the book he eats fish and eggs from turtles. Once in the movie, a bear comes after him.
In Gary Paulsen’s fascinating novel, Hatchet, Brian Robeson learns a very important lesson while stuck in the harsh Canadian Wilderness. Before he crashed he was a happy boy with his mom. He was on his way to the airport to visit his dad, but the plane he was traveling in, crashed. This is how he was stuck in the unfamiliar forest. He had to adapt to his surroundings because he was native to the city, not the forest.
The themes in both Hatchet and Castaway was similar. The two themes that would be discussed in relation to Hatchet and Castaway are; perseverance and family. At the start of both texts, the main characters Brian and Chuck weren’t sure of exactly where they landed and just hoped that a rescue plane or a boat will come near to help. Brian decides to keep him alive until the rescue plane comes. Although Perpich wasn’t one of his family members he persevered Brian to always think positive and stay on top of things.
Things start happening when a girl named Teresa arrives at the maze the very next day. Either they find a way out or they all die. It is important that you read this essay because of the many similarities and differences you might have missed when you read the book and then watched the film. The movie, "The Maze Runner" is one of the best selling books and most sold out movie of all time;however there are many differences and similarities between them and the added events in the film. The novel, "The Maze Runner" and it 's film adaptaion are different for several reasons.

Brian from the book “Hatchet” and Max from the book “Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment” are alike and different in many ways. First of all, let us talk about the differences between these two heroes. Max is a girl who has a passion in helping people and cares about other other people even though they are strangers or not. On the other hand, Brian is surviving in the Canadian woods and he was just a survivor of an airplane crash. Max is a hero because in one part of the book, Max stopped what she was doing to help a girl who was about to get beaten up by 3 guys.
The Hatchet is a intense survival story. The main character Brian is trapped in a forest after a bad plane crash. In the story, Brian used three survival strategies to lead him to staying alive in the forest and being able to face any challenges of survival. The strategies used are Trial and Error, Positive Thinking, and Observation. In the next paragraphs I will talk about the three main survival strategies Brian used to survive the forest.
But then after all of that for him to survive the event. This catching the reader and makes them want to read about the life or death situations Brian becomes prone to. The second event that was very important was Brian’s encounter to the bear. He woke up and it was there scavenging there his food. He had to do something so he acted big and was loud.
