Austin community college an environment for those who are seeking knowledge in their free time. It is self paced for those who have to work and want to get their degree. The ACC on Highland is the one that stood out to me the most, The building it gives many opportunity and help to the students having a passion on learning. This structure the student or staff is walking to is like their stepping into their feature. The Eames house is like stepping into a world of mystery and creativity and when you enter you learn something knew. The ACC highland and Eames house have some connection and difference on their architecture by their interior, location and structure. Stairs purpose is to get from one lower floor to the other level floor or vise versa. Stair can be design in different ways to get people's attention while they are going up or down a level. ACC highland has stairs called the social staircase that is just more then going up and down to get the class. It’ s high wooden staircase with sitting pillow where students are able to sit down and relax and to study or after a long day in class to socialize with friends or form a study group. The staircase is very wide where in the left is the wooden steps to socialize and on the right is the cement steps for those to go up and down to class. The social staircase makes it good architecture because it gives a comfort zone for students to study and do work it makes a good interaction with the person and the architecture. For Eames house their stairs were just simple wooden steps with steel handle. It serves the purpose of a stair it fits the Eames house theme with the modern design. Natural light is best shown on both ACC highland building and Eames house. Natural light is exposed in the social staircase, which makes it better for student to focus in their work and it gives this
