The characters in Agamemnon and Antigone appear to be controlled by their own fates determined by the Gods; mere puppets on strings. Almost everything they do seems to lead to their ultimate demise and tragedy. If this is the case, then do they have any type of control over their own lives? Even when it seems they make a choice on their own, it still leads them to the same place: death.
