¨Harrison Bergeron¨ and ¨Old Gloy¨ Are both very similar and very different. ¨Harrison Bergeron¨ was about in 2081 everyone was equal, people trying to change what the government did will be taken as a prisoner, and the government controlled the people. ¨Old Glory ¨ is about this old man and his nefue. the old man hated the new law SOS¨shoot on sight¨ and his grandad went to the town square and cop liting matches to the flag and the SOS shot him dead. In both short stories have a theme of that even now that people try to limit other people they will always stand up for themselves. stated in the topic paragraph in both stories there was a citizen trying to sand for all the people's rights. On page four of ¨Harrison, Bergeron¨ Harrison got out of prison and tried to get the people to revolt and stand up for there rights. First of in ¨Harison Bergeron¨" Harison was taken away from his home and taken to prison. He broke out of prison and showed what the government really was on national television. Also in ¨Old Glory¨ It was this older man that believed that the U.S.A has fallen and that it has crumbled up to die. He went to his town square and shared what he thought about what happened to his country but the SOS shot him dead before he could really make an impact.
