BGSU vs. Towson College is an important time in every child’s life and making the decision can be a life altering decision for some people. College can be a very massive step for some people, and making the right choice between two different colleges. Bowling Green State University and Towson University for me seem like the right fit. but some roles that are playing in my deciding choice are cost, closeness to home and the area. Picking the right college for me is more about the price aspect rather than having the “college experience”. Bowling Green State University for commuting students is around 10,600 for one full year ("Bowling Green State University."). I find that having an affordable tuition cost is more of a better outcome in the long run for your future. While Bowling Green State University is more affordable, Towson is the complete opposite. Attending Bowling Green State University I would have better knowledge as to where everything is located. I would also know many people in the area and many students who attend Bowling Green State University. As for Towson University I would have really never been to the area and would have no one I would know in the area either. The area would be in a completely different state, and a completely different town. I feel that when my parents are that far away from me. I would not be able to know what is going on in their life. I also believe that would play a large role in my everyday decision making. Bowling Green State University has around 19,000 students (“Bowling Green State University”) which is a rather larger campus and is located in an acceptable area of Ohio.
