Chicago Vs Dubuque Chicago is where i’m originally from. I first discovered Dubuque in Dec, 2006. After that i just kept coming to visit every chance i’ve gotten because i felt safer here. I didn’t move to Dubuque till September,2011. It was my last year in middle school and one of the best years of my life so far. Being from another place and being able to go back and forth a lot you get to see both sides. And the different environments, people, and activities it is to do in both cities. It is easier to contrast the two cities than it is to compare them. Mainly because they’re two different cities and have very different pace of the way of living.There are a few things Chicago has that are similar to Dubuque. They’re both multi cultural places to live in. When you go into both cities you see all kinds of people in both places. They’re both located in the midwest so that causes both cities to have similar weather. It’s normally always wendy in both cities. And thats mainly because they both is located by water. Dubuque is located near the Mississippi River and Chicago is near Lake, Michigan and the Mississippi River as well. Football is also another big thing that the two cities have in common. Everywhere you go there is going to be a lot of people supporting all types of teams. Of course people from Chicago is probably going to like the Bears. But for some odd reason in Dubuque it seems like more than half of the city likes the Chicago Bears team as well. I see people here in Dubuque supporting Chicago Bears team more than any other teams in the NFL. People here thinks i’m crazy because i don’t like the Bears and i’m from
