One of the crucial points when making the constitution was limiting the power of of the government. The solution was formed by creating three branches of government, therefore there was a separation of powers. One branch established was the legislative branch which included Congress with the two houses of representation and population. Their made job was to create laws and the executive branch, included the president and the vice president, would the enforce laws. Lastly the judicial branch which is made up of court, interprets the laws.
Before the Constitution, the colonists were under Britain’s rule. The tyrant was named King George III and he charged the colonists with unreasonable taxes, started wars, and made them do things that were unfair to their rights. The colonists were outraged about the situation and wanted to do something to stop it. A group of colonists worked together on an important document called the Constitution. This Constitution was made particularly to guard against tyranny.
Federalists are folks that agreed with the Constitution while anti-federalists disagreed. The federalists wanted a strong natinal government so the nation could be protected. Anti-federalists thought that a strong executive could become a king and similar to a monarchy. Both sides relied on Virginia's vote to raitfy the Constitution, and little states to follow behind, so it could go into effect. New Hampshire was the final state to vote and the Constitution went into effect, so the people celebrated on a day known as the 4th of July today.

One thing I would like to know about is how the United States is affected by women working. My first question I would like to know more about is when did women start working in the U.S.A. Up until 1840 most women stayed home and worked around the farm or plantations. Many women also worked as slaves or servants. Some women also owned businesses where they worked as apothecaries,barbers, blacksmiths,printers, tavern keepers, and midwives.
