Florida and Oregon are two well-known states for their unique environment, weather, and living conditions. But which is better? Using my personal knowledge and information about the two states, I ask you to decide for yourself by the time you finish reading.

The two states have drastically different environments and locations. Florida is part of the lower east coast and is constantly warm since it's 6,924 miles from the equator. The flat and open landscape along with the wet and marsh like environment makes Florida one of the most unique states in the US. Bodies of water are common in Florida with the state being a peninsula that’s surrounded by it and there being many lakes inland. Having the longest coast of all the states and its light blue warm waters from the Caribbean, its beaches are beautiful and one of Florida’s key features. Oregon can be seen as the opposite of Florida, being part of the upper west coast. Oregon has typical seasonal weather year-round. …show more content…

The other factor that brings people to them is their entertainment. To make use of Florida’s environment, structures and buildings such as outdoor shopping malls, theme parks, and housing were built to invite more people to visit or settle down. On top of the attractions on land, Florida makes great use of its abundance of water. Its oceans and lakes can be used for things like jet skiing, fishing, swimming, and more. Oregon makes use of its environment by making cozy towns that center around the type of land they’re in. Many camp sites, surfing areas, hiking trails, and more are maintained constantly so visitors and locals can enjoy them. Both states have major cities such as Miami, Orlando, and Jacksonville in Florida and Portland in Oregon. These cities help bring people in with things that make there cities unique like their representing NBA basketball teams, their monuments, and the people that live in
