In this paper I will be comparing, The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy to, Star Wars IV: A New Hope. It will show the similarities and differences including some textual evidence pertaining to the story. In the book, The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy this is a book about a man named Arthur Dent and his Journey around the galaxy. In the movie, Star Wars IV: A New Hope this is a movie about this young man named Luke Skywalker and his journey around the galaxy to save the republic. I believe that the Movie, Star Wars IV: A New Hope and the book, The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy both have more similarities than differences. In the movie, Star Wars IV: A New Hope they go on journey from there known planet across the galaxy to save the republic from the Death Star and the Empire. During, his trip he retrieves different heroes to help guide him on his journey. On his journey he must keep protection of R2-D2. Then find Leia and protect her from the Empire. …show more content…
Once Uncle Ben received his message, he knew exactly what was going on. One day the two head out with R2-D2 and C-3PO to go meet up with these two guys at a bar around town. These two guys knew Princess Leia and wanted to help. Once finding their names out Han Solo and Chewbacca, they set off on a journey of a life time. Meanwhile, Luke Skywalker and his crew didn’t know that the Empire was following them because of R2-D2’s plans. Once they left the bar they went to meet up with Jabba the Hutt to discuss the pricing for the Millennium Falcon. Once the Millennium Falcon took off them were caught in some cross fire from the Empire. When the Millennium Falcon was aligned for hyperspace off they go out to adventure. That is from their known world to their unknown
