The great question is if the book is more exciting and more impacting than the movie.
The hunger games is a book written by Suzanne Collins who is known as the New York Times bestselling author. This is about a girl named Katniss Everdeen who’s father died leaving her with her mother and her little sister prim to defend themselves alone. During that time Katniss had to be a mother and a brave sister for Primrose.Then one day every year they do the reaping for the hunger games. They choose one girl and one boy from each district for the hunger games. Unfortunately the young Primrose Everdeen was chosen to be in the hunger games until, Katniss came and volunteer as tribute. Then a boy named Peeta Mellark was the boy chosen. Together they went all the way to the capital and battle each other to the death. I think the book is better than the movie because it gives the reader more of an idea of what is going on
I also think it is better than the movie because it allows the reader to visualize what is going on in the book and imagine things that went on.
