Some people believe that living in Mexicali is better than living here in the Imperial Valley, but from my point of view is better the Imperial Valley than Mexicali for two reasons. First, I believe that here is most safer than Mexicali, and second, the houses here are so big and beautiful.

Mexicali is a big city, with very kind people, and great places to have fun, but also is very dangerous. I lived there all my childhood and part of my adolescent, so I know very well how Mexicali is, that's why I prefer to live in the Imperial Valley. I feel safer living her. When I lived in Mexicali two times people tried to steal my house. One of those times I was inside of the house. Fortunately, I realized that someone was forcing the back door of my house when I hear it I run out and I ask for help. My neighbors called the police and they arrived an hour later, and they just told me that there was nothing they could do because they did not see the person inside of my house. …show more content…

What I am talking about is from the houses. Most of the houses in Mexicali are very small. Unlike in Mexicali, here in the Imperial Valley, the houses are bigger and have big yards where you can have beautiful gardens. Also, is important to emphasize that here the houses are more expensive than in Mexicali. Here in the Valley, a normal house of two bedrooms cost approximately between 120 to 150 thousands dollars, with that amount could be purchased four houses in Mexicali. For that reason, in the same way, the salaries of the people are very different here and Mexicali, while here a person earns a minimum of 10 dollars per hour in Mexicali a person earns 70 to 80 pesos which are 4 yo 6 dollars per hour. That's why everything is more expensive in the Imperial Valley because here the people have good salaries.
