Killer Women The old days were somewhat different because women had no right to decide anything of their own lives. Unfortunately these stories show in common these two women who like many others are dedicated to their husbands by 100%. Often women are not valued as good wives and are battered and bruised and in other cases are left aside by things deemed men are more important. These stories show us that for many years there is mistreatment of women and divorces. Today abuse and divorce are more and more in everyday life. I think the most similar of these two stories are that unhappy woman can do many things like killing. If we talk about "Lamb to the Slaughter" by Roald Dahl we would be talking about a perfect crime. Mary lives a life of a housewife and devoted wife until she murders her husband. However; in "A Jury of Her Peers" talks about the consequences that Minnie had because of the murder of her husband. Another difference is that Mrs. Maloney was a very crafty woman and did the perfect crime to not have consequences for the murder of her husband. On the other hand; we can realize that Minnie was in prison for killing her husband because she did nothing to cover his crime. In "Lamb to the Slaughter" We can clearly understand that Mary was devoted with her husband, but in "A Jury of Her Peers" we can see that it is talking more about feminism and the women were part of second class citizens.
