Egypt had a different government than the Maya, in Egypt they had branches of government who helped each other deal with the people, but the Maya had one big cheese who was in charge of everything, this could relate to why the Maya had a hard time with politics as one man was in charge of everything, whereas the Egyptians helped each other out, that being said, the Egyptians still had a main person in charge called a Pharaoh. The Maya are widely known for their crazy and dangerous ball game which the name of is unknown so most people refer to it as the “Maya Ball Game”, however the Egyptians also had their own sport which is one of the most known sports in the world, the Egyptians invented Bowling. The Maya played their ball game for sacrificial reasons, meaning that the winners were sacrificed to the Gods because the Maya wanted to hand the best of the best they had as sacrifice, whereas the Egyptians played merely for the fun of the game, but they had another game called senet, and the winner got to go to the afterlife first.
