The Ming and Qing Dynasties were both eras of considerable growth and change in China. The Ming era started off by Emperor Yongle gaining most of what is modern day China in the 1400’s. The Great Wall was also rebuilt, and the armies were successful defending China. China experienced a dramatic rise in population, unmatched by any other society t the time. New crops and production were used to stabilize this new population. The economic activity during this era was also more common than in any other country. Cities grew larger than any other place, some even having over one million people. This era saw a high point in trade between The Chinese and Japanese cultures. Chinese Inventions proved to be great in technological advances for the world.
