Josh Billings, a famous humorous writer, once stated, “A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than you love yourself.” Have you ever compared a dog and a hamster? If you have not figured out they actually have many similar and different traits. First, we will view my opinion about bring pets to class. Next, we will outline the similar traits between Monte the dog, and Oreo the hamster. Finally, we will inspect the different traits between both pets. In my opinion, I cannot decide which pet I prefer over the other one. Monte and Oreo both have significant impacts on our school because we do not normally have classroom pets. I have observed it is great to bring new animals into our school because it shakes up the class and adds some excitement. When there is excitement in the room, kids are more likely to be excited to learn. Monte and Oreo are both equally cute, adorable, and well trained. Most kids love dogs, then when a hamster is added, you can easily relate the pets to pets you might have at home. I believe that kids can have connections with the pets. There are many positive impacts of bringing pets to school, it can give one kid time to relate to the pet, or another kid just a break from school as then they can be refreshed to work again. First of all Monte is a sheep dog mix. Monte is very muscular, hefty, and more energetic. I think Monte is so energetic, he could stay awake all night and all day and still be like his old self. Monte is way more athletic and loves to run around and play fetch. Monte has very large eyes that just beg you to play with him. Monte is very energetic and would rather go play fetch, then sleep afterwards. I think Monte has like a musty smell, kind of sweaty, but also has the smells of his bone that he was eating.
