Through out film history films have shared a lot of characteristics. They can be all the same and some can be different. In this essay I am going to take a look at are The Motor Cycle Diaries and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. I` m going to show the relationships of friends in both of these films. They are both buddy films that are about two friends going on an adventure. In The Motor Cycle Diaries it is about two friends going on a trip across South America to help people who have leprosy. In the beginning of the film it starts out with them getting on the motor cycle and they were just joking around like friends do. In this scene though it shows how Butch Cassidy was the smart one and how Sundance was the gunslinger who protected Butch. The entire movie would go off on this comparison of them both. When Butch defeated the new leader he said the gang was going to rob a train this happened and while they were in the middle of it a train with no driver pulled up and S.W.A.T team like horsemen ran out this was another hurdle in Butch Cassidy and Sundance’s friendship because of how the law was catching up with them and how technology wouldn’t let them rob like they used to. As they run along the desert the horsemen won’t stop going after them. So they try to escape into a town but there person who was suppose to lie gave away their position. So they have to continue and they escape to Bolivia with Sundance’s girlfriend and she is what really puts a hole in the friendship it does not say in the movie but you can tell there is jealosy between them two for the girl. When they escape to Bolivia they are back at there old antics. This catches up with them when they are found by the sheriff who was looking for them in the United States. So they are on the run again and they end up just
