Hello Dorothy. I agree that there seemed to be several differences between Mahito's and Orlando's experiences. Orlando's difficulties surprised me because it is from a US territory. I thought that he would have more experiences with US customs and accents due to the increased likelihood of being around more Americans for the "mainland", but I could be mistaken because we some people go off to other countries for vacation, they are more likely to want to assimilated to the country they are visiting. I also found it interesting that Mahito and Orlando enjoyed being in groups.
Living in the city of Denver can have its perks such as the beautiful mountain views and many outdoor activities. It can also become a hassle, like traveling from one place to another, whether on foot, bicycle, or auto. Nevertheless, Colorado’s growing population and economy are of interest to many of its resident voters who partake in decisions of proposed laws and newly passed laws. The State of Colorado is growing rapidly, economy is rising and new laws are taking effect.

I was born and raised in the city of Chicago, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Everyone from my father to my mother’s side of the family lives here, so if I suddenly leave to live in a different city, I would lose a big part of where I came from. Family is very important to me since I know I’ll always have some to look after me that is why when I think of Chicago, I think of all my family members here. Another unique thing about Chicago is how it’s always busy. In Mexico city, there are better standards of living compared to living in rural areas. In the city many people have opportunities for a decent wage.
