Each political party in the American government may present different opinions and views on our political culture. The United States’ constitution grants its qualifying citizens the right to elect certain government officials, an example of representative democracy. By majority rule, the most popular opinion that is supported by the most citizens, becomes our form of sovereignty. American voters, my majority are roughly separated into either, republican, or democrat. These two political parties have the chance of holding the majority presence in one or even both houses of congress.
