Cedar Point vs. Kings Island Would you like to be launched 420 feet in the air at 120 mph? Well, you will only find that ride at Cedar Point. The closest thing to it at Kings Island is only 230 feet tall and goes a mediocre speed of 80 mph.
As you can perceive, unlike Campus, with smaller class sizes Haysville High gives each and every student an opportunity to have one on one time with their teachers. To put it differently, Campus High is overpopulated, and the school seemed “crammed.” For instance, there are countless classrooms at Campus that are so full; they do not even have enough desks for the students. Thus, Haysville High is diminutive enough to focus attention on every student, and makes all of us feel accepted. For all these reasons, Haysville High’s environment is more conducive to learning than Campus is.
In Jonathan Kozol’s report titled “Fremont High School,” he asserts that the use of apartheid methods of schooling still exists as of today. According to Kozol’s report, “Fremont High School enrolls almost five thousand students on a three- track schedule” (716). Fremont High School is surrounded by an eight- foot steel fence that is topped with spikes. Kozol describes the daily routine for students, as well as the conditions of Fremont High School (716-717). Kozol’s report reveals to the audience the prison-like conditions, the crowded facilities, as well as the potential for success as dictated by students.
Similarities and differences of Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson Similarities are somewhat obvious in what they seemed to attempt to accomplish. They both seemed to share the commitment to enacting major social reform. One could say that one of President Roosevelts’ greatest accomplishments was that of the National Park Service. While Wilson pushed through other policies restricting big business, both Presidents made big businesses angry with their push for social reform.
Similarities include attitude towards life and school. Difference include friendships and conformity. One way

Charles W. Chestnutt’s the Passing of Grandison is a tale that sheds light on southern slavery in a time where a movement to free slaves was a rebellious act. The author uses specific locations and dialogue to portray the reality of the era. The theme of the story is addressed through the acts of both of the main characters. On one end, Dick’s determination and courage is driven by a hidden motive that benefits himself; while Grandison’s courage and determination are led by his hidden motive to concur opportunity for himself and his family. Ironically, both men address the topic of what a man is willing to do for the person or people he loves, but the initial reasoning behind the both of the similar yet differing situations leads to a very unexpected outcome.
Wilson High School from the movie Freedom Riders shares characteristics with Wisco, but it is also very different. Just like Wisco, Wilson, more specifically Mrs. Gruwell, has caring teachers. Every single teacher at Wisco want to see their students succeed, and to see each one of their students in heaven. Erin Gruwell wanted to see each of her students succeed, and often went out of her way to make that happen. In contrast with Wisco, a large portion of Wilson students have been through the justice system.
I am Jimmy Nguyen, a graduate from the S.T.E.M(Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) program of L.V Berkner High School. Unlike the classmates in the class, I am the type of person that will work hard in order to achieve a goal that would eventually help me hit my milestone. My strengths are being able to work with classmates, fighting back procrastination, and hardworking. My weaknesses are time management, being organized, and prioritizing. It is required to have at least double the amount of time I am in class, so for this class I am required to have at least four hours of study time outside of class.
The different levels of high school football and college football and NFL have different varieties and styles. High school football is the lowest level of football. College football is comparable to middle-class football and requires more skill. The NFL is the all-time hardest to get into and play. There are ways of playing football and different rules.
In the regular education classroom these students were very quite and the only time they would talk is if they were asked to. Occasionally they would misbehave in class but that was their way of getting attention and a way to tell the teacher they had no idea what was going on. I enjoyed seeing these students in both settings because I got a sense of who they
In my last week in Wilkinson Middle School I was observing Classroom Procedures .Ms. Culberson is a very fun teacher but she is really strict in every one that enters her classroom knows that .Ms. Culberson might not be in the class whenever the bell rings but her students know to start in the bell ringer. She times her student and they all have to work quickly and quietly. They grade the bell ringer after words she asks for their grade and they have to say it out loud.
Many people think that most American schools are satisfactory. That is far from what is actually happening. The harsh reality is that schools that are unsatisfactory do exist. In Jonathan Kozol’s “Fremont High School”, he points out the flaws of a high school located somewhere in Los Angeles. This helps shine light on differences in the quality of education in various areas of the country.
The first day I went there was a student crying and Mr.Mikalov pulled him outside to talk to him in private because some kids don’t like talking about their feelings in front of everybody. While the students were doing their work I had a chance to walk around the classroom, I saw at least five rules in big letters in the back of the room, which reminded me off Hary Wong and his teachings off rules and procedures. After the bell rings and they go to math. The teacher starts the lesson by asking the class what they know about the subject and go from there. The teacher asks the students to turn and talk to the person next to them about what they learned or explain it to someone who doesn’t understand it.
