Happ The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Like every great game that fits in the role-playing genre(RPG), the fifth installment of the Elder Scrolls series by Bethesda is a time-crushing machine. It’s huge compared to others, epic in its wide range scope, and will occupy such vast amount of your free time that you will find yourself not wanting to sleep and forget to do work while you play it. Most of all, it’s a game designed to raise the bar for the genre for several years to come, just as its predecessor The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Despite stiff competition from Fallout 3 and The Witcher 2, Oblivion has remained the reigning RPG champion of this hardware generation. The game also has a main story arch but, Skyrim is a game where side quests never feel like side quests, just another part of your mission to be whatever it is you want to be. It’s a world upon which you're free to stamp your own identity. Do you want to be a warrior who lets a war-axe do the talking, or be a charmer with a bag of illusions and tricks? Will you join the strong Companions or hook up with the sneaky Thieves Guild? Will you even go farther in to the darker parts of the game and join the Dark Brotherhood?
