Three Prolific Americans I am going to be comparing and contrasting Sonia Sotomayor Franklin D Roosevelt and Wilma Rudolph. The first person you will be hearing about is Sonia Sotomayor she was born in 1964 and she is currently 63 years old. She is well known for being the first Latina Supreme Court Justice.She got nominated by President Barack Obama in 2009 on May 26th She became a Supreme Court Justice officially on August 6th. Something that I'm inspired her to be a Justice is the Nancy Drew mystery stories. She won a Hispanic Heritage award. She has had diabetes and she's has had it since she was 8 years old. Franklin Roosevelt was born in 1882 and died in 1945 he died from bleeding in his brain. A cool facts about him is that he was related to 11 other presidents. He grew of Rich and his family was white. Before he was the president he was a governor Of New York in 1928. He served his election of being the president of the United States of America. he was the 32nd president. He was the only U.S president to be elected four times. He helped us through the Great Depression which was when the stock markets crashed and there were millions of people that got laid of and were unemployed. They both have one sibling, Franklin’s siblings name is Jame Roosevelt and Sonia’s siblings name is Juan Sotomayor, so they both have brothers. They also are the same in a way because they were both born in New York. Also Roosevelt has some things in common with Wilma Rudolph such as they both have had polio and had weak legs after that. Wilma had it when she was 4 years of age and Franklin had it when he was 39 years of age. Also they both liked to work out and stay fit. And Roosevelt had 5 boys and 1 girl, but Rudolph had 2 boys and 2 girls; but they both have kids.
