The whiskey rebellion was a protest by many Americans who were against the new law that taxed whiskey. This law was put into place in 1791. The United States government was in debt from the war and they decided that taxing whiskey would slowly start eating away at Americas debt. George Washington was in his second year of presidency during 1791 although he wasn't the mastermind behind the whisky tax. Alexander Hamilton was the man behind this idea because he realized that Americans needed to do something to get out of their nearly eighty million dollars in debt they had accumulated from the war.
The French, Haitian, and American Revolutions were all sparked from the minds of the colonists, slaves, or lower classes who were treated with inequality by their own governments. In each location, there was a noticeable trend of mistreatment between government and people. In Haiti, slaves brought over by the French who captured the island, and forced them into brutal labor in what was the most valuable and wealthy are at the time. The government and leadership in France was corrupt as they were in much debt. King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette lived in Versailles far from the other forms of government, abusing the country wealth.
The Revolution of the 13 Colonies of America was truly revolutionary. A lot of change was brought about for the everyday lives of all kinds of the people. The years 1750-1900 are better known as the Revolution Era. During this time period, there were several revolutions that occurred throughout the developing world. Two of the main revolutions were the French Revolution and the Latin American Revolution. Both revolutions followed the anatomy of a revolution and had comparable causes, however the French Revolution politically better outcomes, whereas the Latin American Revolution resulted in poverty and lost territory.

This occurred multiple times around the world, some included in the countries France; The French Revolution, Mexico; The Mexican revolution, China; The Chinese Revolution, Russia; The Russian Revolution, and many others around the globe. As both French and Mexican revolutions fought for independence and to convert to a modern world government, they both were concerned with inequality with the lower classmen. The French Revolution fought to end monarchy establishment, while the Mexican Revolution fought to end dictatorship and to establish a constitutional republic.

The American Revolution set the background for the modern nation state as well as molding the modern Army. Both countries have many differences and similarities, ranging from the individuals fighting these wars to tactics and strategies they used to win. These countries shared the same idea of freedom and independence, the difference is they used different methods of accomplishing this goal. It’s difficult to pin point which country chose the best method, but we compare some of the facts and take a deeper look as to what was transpiring in both of these Revolutions. In the 18th Century the main problem the Army had was manpower.
Throughout history there have been many wars and revolutions. During the 1600s’ there was the English Civil War. Shortly after that, in the 1700’s there was the French Revolution. The English Civil War was a war between the Parliamentarians and Royalists in England. The French Revolution was a revolution fought between the peasants and nobility of France.
Throughout history, there is a vast majority of opinions solely on one event in history but in order for someone to grasp an idea of something, such as the American Revolution, one has to look and evaluate the different ideas on a historical event. In the case of the American Revolution authors Charles Inglis, Thomas Paine, Howard Zinn, and speaker Patrick Henry had to compare and contrasting ideas. Inglis and Zinn identified the revolution as something that was unnecessary as there are more advantages in staying with Britain and as a result of the revolution there are more problems, while Paine and Henry suggested that the revolution is needed due to the subordination and inflicted pain to the colonists, and King George III not being able
A revolution is a large-scale rebellion with the intent to change or get rid of the current political system. The American Revolution was a fight to be free from British rule. People were tired of being controlled. The colonists of America wanted to create their own government where they could get what they left Europe for. While some may argue that the American Revolution did not change life for minorities, the American Revolution changed the political, economic, and social atmosphere and set the stage for future change.
In February 1861, a new government was on the horizon in the United States, known as the Confederate States of America. Composed of seven states from the South, this new government looked to separate from a union that they felt was tipping in power towards those who wanted to threaten the rights of the South, especially slavery. Similarly, in early 1775, colonists were preparing for revolution against a power that they felt oppressed their rights and wanted to take away their liberties. However, the Civil War was a not a complete representation of a second American Revolution. The Civil War was more than an unsatisfied party rebelling against a larger power, but a clash between two vastly different ways of life.
The spread of Communism and liberal independent movements were built upon these two famous Revolutions which shaped the world as it is known. The French Revolution was considered the spark of European liberal revolutionaries in various countries, where as the Russian Revolution was the first country to implement the ideals of Communism which are still used in the world today by other countries such as China. These two Revolutions were caused for different reasons that had some parallels and some differences, whether being the results or events. When comparing the French and Russian Revolutions, there were certain events that occurred prior to the revolutions where many similarities and differences were inherited. Prelude of the Revolutions France To begin, France was in a financial crisis at the conclusion of the 18th century.
Was the French Revolution preventable? This is a question that is fascinating to think about. What could have been done differently to prevent this revolution that cost countless people their lives? Why were others willing to give their lives, for what cause? Why was life so turbulent?
The events that took place in Newark 50 years ago were a rebellion. My reasoning is that the USA was founded on rebellion. Our forefathers were fighting against the unjust laws put in place by a British government without proper representation, for example the Boston Tea Party and Shay’s Rebellion. A rebellion is to bring about change from an oppressive government or authority. In 1967, the people of Newark were rebelling against oppression/racism from the federal government, local government, local police force and white businesses.
Revolution means: a forcible overthrow of a government or social order in favor of a new system. I think the reason for rebellion is not because the people want too, but the decisions the Government makes. If i were to chose to be apart of a rebellion or a revolution, i would choose the revolution because it uses less force
