the 16th century two massive empires ruled over Latin America. The Inca and the Aztec once ruled the area where both empires have many advantages on physical features which lead to the development of the empires. For the better advantage the Inca Empire would excel at the development of their empire better than the Aztec Empire. Living on the Andes Mountains the Inca Empire created Adobe or Stone brick homes from their ingenuity to over come the rainy like weather. With their ingenuity and craftsmanship this civilization created elevated aqueducts that prevents floods hitting their home in which it did work as some still stand.

The reason why was when they would conquer someone or someplace they let the people keep their way of life before they came, and only asked for a tribute or tax and teach the language of the empire. The Inca empire also created a way to control the climate. where their crops grew.
Guns, Germs, and Steel were the main cause of the fall of the Inca Empire. The fall was caused because of Francisco Pizarro whose army was small but way more high tech then the Incas. The Incas thought they could never be defeated but Pizarro lead to their defeat because of guns, germs, and steel. The Inca empire was defeated because of guns. Pizarro had guns that weren’t very accurate but scared the Incas away because of their loud booms, This made the Incas run and try to escape but they couldn’t and lots of Incas died.
An example of their over conquering would have to be the Aztec empire. In this case there was a ton of violence. The reason for this would be because the Aztecs were also a powerful empire that also happened to wealthy. The whole point here is that money created the people here. God, gold, and glory were the things they were after, and in every culture there is a few people who are going to be a little too willing
The Aztecs tried to make peace with them, and gave them gold, which made the conquistadors only want more of this. They wanted victory.

In this story, Sinclair incorporates real facts he learned from going, undercover, into a meat-packing factory. To accomplish this feat Sinclair subtly compares the meat-packing factory to a jungle; he speaks of physical and mental aspects such as temperature and a hierarchy, includes ages and lifespans, and also integrates animal imagery. Fusing all of these different factors gives The Jungle the exact jungle-like atmosphere Sinclair was hoping to obtain.

Their destruction wasn't peaceful and somewhat gory. Important factors of the fall of the Aztec and Incan empires were European expeditions, disease, and warfare. The Aztec and Incan empires were both unique in their own ways.
The fall of the Aztec Empire was due to the determination of the Spaniards. The Spaniards were destructive. They did not respect the Natives’ religions at all. They almost destroyed all of the Natives’ culture, and now we know very little about Natives. The Spaniards’ greed and obsession with power, this was their main motivation to conquer the Aztec Empire.
