The interaction of the Powhatan, English and Africans in Jamestown for the american society built for people of diverse cultures, traditions and beliefs. Jamestown including free enterprise, private ownership of land, representative government and rich cultural diversity by these three groups of people the Powhatan, English and the Africans. The Massachusetts Bay Colony was an English settlement on the east coast of North America. Massachusetts Bay was settled by Europeans. The government was democratic because the people of the colony elected a governor annually. The governors was elected they were limited to freeman who had been examined for their religious and admitted to their church. The Puritans population was strongly, and its governance was dominated by a small group of leaders who was strongly influenced by Puritan religious leaders. The democratic government was treating everyone the same when dealing with laws and taxes. No matter who anyone was there the laws and taxes stilled applied to everyone. The government set the taxes and laws based on the will of what church they went to and what was the right thing to do. They also had strict rules about kissing in public and a lot of inappropriated things considered to be wrong by the church. Some states had nicknames after the color paper they printed the laws on. The people wanted to live a better and easier life with more freedom from the government and religion but then proceeded to promote and carry out the laws such as kissing in
